All Catholics, but especially adult Catholics, are called to constant growth in their faith. This means that we must not only attend Holy Mass, donate to charity, pray, and live virtuously, but we must also seek to learn and understand more about what Christ and His Church teach. The more we know Our Lord, the more we are able to love Him and serve Him. Please look below for various opportunities that our parish offers for growing in your faith.
Independent Bible Study
All parishioners are challenged to learn more about Jesus Christ and Christian teaching by undertaking a year-long Bible study in the comfort of your own home. Below are two excellent guides for studying the Bible, in bite-sized chunks, everyday for 365 days.
Food 'n' Faith Family Book Study
All parish families are welcome to join us in deepening our faith through the reading and discussing of good Christian books. We meet at Holy Cross Collegiate and/or Sacred Heart Academy on Sunday afternoons following Holy Mass. After a shared potluck meal, children play in the gymnasium under parental supervision while adults discuss the book together.
This year (2022-23) we'll be reading through a number of the works of C.S. Lewis. (Available here or here.) Please see the schedule below, and join us whenever you're available.
