Meeting Summary Announcement
Following a successful meeting with the Diocese on October 8, we have a few updates to offer the parish.
Firstly, Bishop McGrattan was very impressed by the collaborative work of our parish and committees in advancing the building of our new Church in Strathmore. This was due, in no small part, to the prayers, volunteering, and financial support that you have offered throughout this process. Furthermore, we can now report that we have the encouraging support of the Diocese for the continuation of this project to the next stage.
As for specific details coming from this meeting, we would like to announce the following:
We are committed to providing regular updates in the next few months. Please continue to pray for the building of our new church and stay tuned as we establish concrete next steps with the Diocese. The first of these steps will involve, as stated earlier, ordering the construction drawings and planning fundraising efforts that involve the Bishop and the Diocese.
Finally, thank you to all parishioners who helped in various ways to get us to this point in our project. Also, a special thanks to all who offered novenas to St. Joseph over the past weeks for the success of our meeting. The holy carpenter of Nazareth certainly interceded for us!
It is exciting to see our project moving forward after so many years of prayer, sacrifice, and hard work!
